MY PERSONAL THANKS
Unfortunately, I was unable to make the final night due to sickness, but all the guys came out to cheer on the 2 finalist. I want to thank all the players for another successful year and most of all how everyone came each week and played some amazing matches! All 21 players showed class and sportsmanship each and every time they showed up. You guys make this league all I intended it to be. To all the new guys this year, you added only good things to come in the next season. Next year we are moving up to 24 players and it should be very competitive . Special thanks to my brother Jim m for always making sure things got done. Mike R, thanks for keeping all the stats for the season. You do an amazing job! Scott, thanks for helping with organizing the playoffs this year. Thanks again guys and I'll see you in the fall.

It was a good finals match, but Wayne came out on top again! Frank played outstanding, but in the end had to take second spot. Great job guys.

THE ELITE 8 RESULTS
After the elite 8 last Thursday night was played, we're down to the last four players. What a night of darts ! All four matches were fun to watch, but two stood out because of the intense way they were played out. Eddie and Kevin fought back and forth the whole night. Kevin started out on a two set lead and looked like it was going to be over quick, but Eddie fought back and won the next 6 legs to tie the match up and take it in to the fifth set. Kevin won the first two legs and Eddie fought back in the third leg and was looking for the come back, but In the fourth leg Kevin could not seem to find his double and Eddie was right on his heals . Eddie needed that fourth leg to go to sudden death, but Kevin after many shots at a double finally hit his out and won the match. Great match guys!
THE ELITE 8 RESULTS cont.
The other match that stood out was Mike R and Scott Kelly. Mike came out firing and won the first two legs of the first set, but Scott came back and won the next three. Mike having none of that fought back and won the next two sets with six straight legs. Scott won the fourth leg handily 3 to 1 and took them in to the fifth set. They stole each others throw up to the third leg and Scott ran away with some great scores in the fourth and took the match . Again guys, great darts to watch!

These matches will be worth a watch. There are a couple of matches that will be revenge matches and have the potential to go right to the end of set 5. This round will be determined by shooting for the bull to see who starts the match . Having the darts to start the match will be a big advantage for sure. This is a first to 3 match, so start out strong guys! Good luck.

All these matches were worth watching! There were 2 upsets last night, Rick and Mat were eliminated from the top 16 and Kyle and Jerome will continue on. Although all the matches were good, the match of the night was Rick vs Jerome. They fought right down to the last leg of the last set and Jerome came out on top. Hats off guys, that was a great night of darts.

FINALS NIGHT
I would sure like to see the players all come out for finals night. There will be sandwiches and some deserts to share and you can cheer on the players. Oh and it's payout night!
